If that sounds like you, come join this industry leader!Here's What You'll Get To DoEnsure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinesFollow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasksTroubleshoot equipment and determine appropriate repairs and defective parts replacement and performs all requirements to maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
This requires the tech to observe the mechanical devices in operation, listen for problems, and use precision measuring and testing instrumentsRemove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, hand and power toolsDetermine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsAdjust functional parts of device and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edgesMaintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communication actions, irregularities and continuing needsHere's What We're Looking For 1-2 years experience in maintenance in an industrial plantAbility to work with production to ensure timely repair of equipmentAbility to work independently and proactivelyAbility to understand and work from mechanical and electrical printsBasic computer familiarityGood organizational skillsStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeBasic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsWilling to work a flexible schedule and/or overtimeExperience with CNC and PLC systems is a plusSome welding and pipefitting experience is a plusStrong on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plusKnowledge of control circuit wiring 24VDC is a plusAn uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.
