Director of Behavioral Health/Psychiatry
POSITION
Summary:
The Behavioral Health Program Director is responsible for the maintenance of the contractual relationship and the overall administration of patient care for a 54 bed adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatric program at our client hospital, Northport Hospital, in Northport, AL. Included in these responsibilities are:
1) The development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program;
2) The development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program;
3) Strategic planning, program administration, and development.
Requirements
1) Must have 3-5 years experience managing an inpatient psychiatric program in a hospital.
2) Master's Degree in Behavioral Health related field required.
3) Communication/Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
4) Education/Development/Initiative:
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
5) Hospital/Department Policies & Procedures:
Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols.
6)Supports hospital mission, vision, and values.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
